Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how ResuLoom AI uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are required to operate the site. A cookieless Umami counter on our server records visits to resuloom.com without a cookie. Analytics cookies are optional and are used only if you give prior consent via our banner or Cookie settings. Simply browsing does not equal consent for analytics cookies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage. Some are essential; others (analytics) are optional.
2. How we use cookies
We use the following categories:
- Essential: language preference cookie (lang) and similar settings needed for the site to work. Resume drafts in localStorage are stored on your device to power the editor—they are not analytics cookies.
- Analytics (optional, consent required): Google Analytics to understand aggregated usage (pages, device/browser). IP anonymization is enabled where supported. Off until you accept. Separately, cookieless Umami records visits to resuloom.com only and does not set a cookie.
3. Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings in the site footer (or the banner on first visit) to accept or reject analytics. You can also clear cookies/localStorage in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may break language persistence.
4. Third-party cookies
If you consent, Google may set analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies. See Google’s Privacy & Terms for Google’s processing.
5. Legal basis
Essential cookies: legitimate interest / necessity to provide the service. Analytics cookies: consent under GDPR/ePrivacy and aligned with Ecuador LOPDP and Argentina Law 25.326 informed-consent principles.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. Check this page and the effective date in the Privacy Policy for updates.
